Abstract
Kinetics of n=1 excitons are measured in Cu2O using femtosecond time-resolved mid-IR spectroscopy. Observed density dependent ortho- to para-exciton conversion rate is attributed to a spin-exchange collision process, in good agreement with theoretical predictions.
