Abstract :
In this paper, the principle, process and experimental analysis for the single extraction of auditory brainstem potential by wavelet transformation are discussed. The results indicate that, by a wavelet filter obtained from correlation analysis between results of wavelet transformation and traditional superposing and averaging method, the auditory brainstem response signal can be extracted from the signal containing spontaneous brain wave interference based on only a single measurement of the signal. As comparison to traditional superposing and averaging method, the wavelet transformation analysis method presented in this paper can provide much more distinct waveforms and shorten the time of whole detection by considerably reducing the number of tests.
