Abstract :
In the presented paper the research concerning the iron losses in the armature of electromagnetic torque converter is introduced. Taking advantage of the field calculations it was decided to determine the kind of magnetization in the particular regions of armature, evaluate the iron losses and compare the results with the laboratory measurements.
