Abstract :
Effective control of both current and voltage harmonics within an industrial facility can no longer be ignored. As more equipment is controlled by high speed, high current electronics, facility managers are faced with a new set of issues, self inflicted power quality problems and an internal problem that can spill over and affect neighbors. The goal of this paper is to discuss an approach to performing a harmonics survey at an existing plant to aid in the design for future growth and the construction of similar plants throughout the world
