Abstract :
A novel position information based interference coordination method between macrocell and femtocell is proposed in this paper. The main idea is position information based frequency-resource reuse scheme (i.e. reusing PRBs at one carrier or reusing the component carrier), by which a co-channel deployed femtocell wouldn´t cause serious interference to macrocell transmission. Generally speaking, this method is a robust interference coordination scheme with loose deployment. The advantage of this in-band sensing method is the impact to OFDM system frame structure could be minimized.
