Abstract :
Because of its potential and hazardousness, the road transport of dangerous goods (RTDG) takes more and more attentions recent years. But in china, the most RTDG monitoring systems can only track the vehicle path or such static tasks which only using 3G technology. Therefore, more powerful dynamic RTDG monitoring system is needed. In this paper, we first analyze the conditions of RTDG including causes of accidents, monitoring situation and technologies. Then a dynamic RTDG monitoring system is proposed which is based on the Internet of Things (IOT) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. This system is a four-layer framework includes basic information collection, data transmission, information process, and application. Cooperating with the highway infrastructure and information sharing system databases, the proposed system can get more information of RTDG and timely prevent/deal accident.
