Abstract :
The present research introduces a low cost AoA system used to determine the position in indoor conditions and working in the ISM band at 2.4GHz. A good precision is provided and also a real-time operation offering a position in 60msg. These features are possible due to the application of an angle of incidence estimation algorithm based in a covariance analysis. Precision could be increased by means of spatial diversity technique in the receiver end.
