  • Abstract
    A printed-circuit balanced mixer for the 4-mm window and 5-mm oxygen-absorption band is described. The circuit integrates fin-line, coplanar line, and microstrip on a single board suspended in the E-plane of a WR-12 housing. With the LO fixed at 68 GHz, this low-cost mixer has a conversion loss of 6.6/spl plusmn/ 1.0 dB across the signal band of 61 to 72 GHz.
