Abstract :
This paper proposes a new type of constrained interpolation profile (CIP) method, which is combined with the quadratic interpolation for multi-dimensional wave analysis. The proposed CIP method is applied to the analysis of two-dimensional electromagnetic wave propagation from a line source. Comparing the results obtained by the proposed method with those obtained by the FDTD method and other CIP method: Type-M and Type-C CIP methods, the effectiveness of the proposed CIP method for analyzing the multi-dimensional wave propagation is shown.
