Abstract
This paper deals with a novel approach to teaching introductory EM is being developed at Miami University. Real-world projects are at the core of the course and the primary goal of it is to heighten students´ interest to EM and awareness of its applicability in the modern engineering practice. Based on the initial student responses, these goals are being met successfully.
