  • Abstract
    The authors propose a discrete-time dynamical system of coupled chaotic neurons that can generate oscillatory responses formed by periodic points, and which enables us to develop a dynamic image segmentation system. We calculate bifurcations of periodic points, and investigate a mechanism of the generation of oscillatory responses and parameter regions in which they exist stably.
