Abstract
Using the window-time (WT) plane, determined by the total network capacity point, a window-time space flow control (WTFC) algorithm is utilized to estimate a transmitter´s optimal packet sending rate. In this paper, the filtering mechanisms needed to achieve WTFC feedback stability are presented. The post-filtering approach appears to be more convenient for WTFC, and two algorithms are applied: packet sending-rate slowdown and period filtering. Both algorithms are made adaptive with regard to the bandwidth-delay product of the path. Filtering parameters are tuned experimentally. Simulation measurement results are presented and analyzed
