Abstract :
When agents operate in wireless communication systems in a disconnected way, it is hard for a mobile user to distinguish between a failed mobile agent and a delayed one. Thus, there is a need for management functionality which provides feedback information from running agents. This information is required by agent users to control a running application and by agent programmers to debug a developed agent application. Most of today´s agent technologies give feedback from agent activities by providing the current location of agents to the user, but only few of then address agent debugging tools. We propose a set of debugging tools which meet the special requirements of mobile agents operating in future wireless communication systems like GPRS and UMTS
