Abstract :
Selecting the best wheat variety seed from many different types of varieties for cultivating in specified field is a complex process that faces the Decision makers (e.g. farmers, their advisors, and stakeholders). Right decision in the selection of the best wheat variety to be grown will ultimately convert into a successful farming plan. On the other hand, selecting the suitable variety for season among the many alternatives is a multi-criteria decision making problem. In this paper, the structure of Linguistic Fuzzy Decision Network (LFDN) method is improved to be applied in a case study from real world to determine the best wheat variety among four varieties-namely: Sakha 94, Gemmeiza 10, Giza 186 and Sids 1 regarding to multiple criteria namely: Soil Salinity, Soil Type, Yield and Diseases.
