  • Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new class of printed designs that emulate anisotropy and phenomena seen only in magnetic media. In contrast to, the proposed printed design utilizes a substrate that incorporates sections of available magnetic materials. Therefore, nonreciprocal wave propagation is realized and asymmetric dispersion diagrams are generated such as those to the right. These asymmetric diagrams also lead to better antenna miniaturization and impedance matching in presence of ferromagnetic substrates.
