  • Abstract
Multi-phase synchronous machines with AC and DC outputs are being used in independent power system ever-increasingly. Several independent Y-connected windings are equipped on the stator of the machine, one of which delivers AC power, and the others named as DC windings are connected to the bridge rectifier. As there are two windings in this kind of generator providing AC and DC currents respectively, it is hard to calculate and measure some of its parameters. In the paper, based on some parameters obtained by traditional methods and sensitivity analysis, parameters identification is studied, partial estimating parameters of generators has been conducted, which effectively solved the unsteady algorithm of identification. According to the method mentioned in the paper, the true parameters are estimated on a multi-phase synchronous machines and correspondent simulation has been conducted and analyzed. It is concluded that the estimating algorithm is proved effective, as the simulation and the realistic identification are suitable to each other.
