Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to design an automaton to ensure service continuity of an induction machine railway traction system. After introducing the system and the various types of architecture, we studied its behaviour and strategies to maintain service continuity in the case of pantograph detachment, loss of adherence and stick-slip perturbation. This study led to a choice of configuration that allows combining the two studied structures (the multi-converter multi-machine system and mono-converter multi-machine system) and implementing strategies for compensation. Thereafter, the supervising automaton was designed and tested in simulation.
