Abstract :
In recent years, the role of industrial cluster in promoting regional development and enhancing the capability of self-innovation of a country has been realized throughout the world, and the characteristics of industrial cluster is becoming all the more obvious in business development. However, not all such clusters are capable of obtaining superior competitive power and remaining a long-term development. Many scholars have researched on the phenomenon of industrial clusters and found that the building and perfecting of learning mechanism is essential to the development of industrial clusters. Based upon knowledge management, this paper analyzes the learning process relying on the retrospect of the progress of industrial cluster and relevant learning mechanism theories. From the research on three learning levels-vertical angle, horizontal angle and auxiliary service environment of industrial cluster, the author establishes a space model and explains that the speed of cluster learning is in connection with the transmission path of knowledge determined by members of clusters, and draws the conclusion that for the learning mechanism, a knowledge bank should be built and enriched and an open learning network should be formed so as to realize knowledge innovation. This research received financial support from the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
