Abstract :
We demostrate a sub-picosecond 1-kHz femtosecond X-ray source (flux: 5times1010 photons/s) with a well accessible quasi-point size (10 mum diameter) providing Cu Kalpha emission in continuous operation (10 hours), which we use to characterize two different types of focusing optics
