Abstract :
Standardization of software and hardware interfaces has led to a breakthrough in measurement product architectures. It is now possible to embed the “measurement science” of high-performance automatic test equipment in a PC. Doing so provides connectivity with other PC-based applications, making it possible to connect the operational and maintenance world with the worlds of manufacturing and design. “Real-world” results can now impact next-generation improvements, while next-generation design and simulation data can be used to enhance “real-world” performance
