Abstract :
In design of asynchronous machine that operate in dynamical regimes, as is the case of traction motors, modeling and simulation are mandatory stages. Only on this base is possible manufacturing of a motor that to correspond to given dynamic response conditions. In the paper is proved that one can anticipate the behavior in the specific dynamic operation of traction motors; the research also gives the designer useful quantitative and qualitative information, regarding the dynamical electrical, magnetic and mechanical stresses.
