  • Abstract
    Waveform-relaxation method is applied to ultracapacitor transmission line model to reduce the simulation time. Circuit partitioning, time windowing, and scheduling algorithms are developed and integrated in the waveform relaxation method to further accelerate the simulation. The transient response of the state variables of the transmission line model are simulated using the conventional method and developed model. The results show that the waveform relaxation method significantly decreases the simulation time while preserving the model accuracy.
