Abstract
The omnidirectional CP antenna at 1.5 GHz is presented using an arc-shaped mushroom structure with curved branches. To obtain the omnidirectional pattern and vertical polarization, the antenna utilizes the ZOR mode of an arc-shaped mushroom structure. The horizontal polarization is achieved by the curved branch attached to each mushroom. The proposed antenna is simply designed with a single feed. The simulated axial ratio is 0.31-3.22 dB. The measured gain of -9.56-2.28 dBic is obtained in the azimuthal plane.
