Abstract :
In this paper, the planar wideband monopole antenna operated 30 MHz to 2000 MHz is proposed. The proposed antenna is folded to reduce the size and uses the tapered resistively loadings for the wideband operation. In design process, the magnitude of the resistively loadings are optimized. In addition, the dimension of the antenna is optimized using the parametric studies. Finally, the simulated and measured results are presented and discussed.
