Abstract :
The transceiver design of differential 16-ary Jones-vector-shift-keying (D16JSK) using multilevel detection is presented. The sensitivity of D16JSK is compared to that of polarization-division-multiplexed DQPSK. The transmission performance of D16JSK is studied by simulation.
