Abstract :
This paper shows an inter-cell interference suppression effect using a chip correlation MMSE receiver with multipath interference correlative timing (MICT) or CCMRM, which is our previously proposed method. Since a chip correlation matrix used by the CCMRM method is obtained from a correlation of received chip data before despreading which contains signals from own cell and interference cell base stations, an inter-cell interference suppression effect is expected. Our simulation for the HSDPA system with CCMRM has shown an improvement of more than 6 dB in the throughput property at the cell edge environment in which mobile terminals suffer from inter-cell interference.
