Abstract
On-line monitoring of transformer winding axial displacement and radial deformation using Ultra-wideband (UWB) sensors has been presented in this paper. Measurements of the received signals from a simplified model of the transformer winding demonstrate the high sensitivity of the proposed technique to the winding deformation and displacement.
