Abstract
PFI is a novel financing and construction mode that private agencies can invest their funds in public projects. Based on the present situation about the construction of low-rent housing in China, this paper analyzes and proves the necessity and feasibility of introducing PFI (private finance initiative) into the construction of low-rent housing. Besides, the paper also designs a corresponding performing mode, and elaborates the performing principles of building the low-rent housing in PFI mode. It attempts to innovate a new construction mode in which private agencies can invest their funds in low-rent housing construction, and provide some references for the innovation of low-rent housing construction in China.
