Abstract :
We have been researching a method for expressing emotional images by utilizing multimedia like video and sound and so on. Human body motion is one of the important essences in expressing human emotion. We chose dance as a subject of our research, because dance performers perform motion to express the emotion in their mind. Our research results show that the multiple regression method effectively extracts human emotion from simple motion parameters given by image processing. MIDAS (MIC Interactive Dance System) is an application of the emotion extraction method. The extraction method and MIDAS are introduced
