  • Abstract
    After analysis and comparison of several fault diagnosis methods, a new fault location method based on function backtracking and branch trimming is presented. Firstly, three datasheets are used to describe system structure, element fault, and fault propagation in diagraph modeling. Secondly, fault location algorithm traces fault source according to function backtracking, trims branch path in terms of fault propagation time sequence, and generates the most possible fault propagation paths under two rules of extracting and selecting,. The start point of the path is possible fault source. In the end, maintenance demand recognition prototype system for AGV system is introduced, which is based on fault location algorithm in this paper.
