Abstract :
We present proof-of-concept results for coherent ´time-of-flight´ lidar range processing of broadband analog optical noise waveforms using the spectral sensing material Tm:YAG. Time-of-flight resolution of ∼450 ps with ∼30 dB of signal-to-noise ratio is demonstrated.
