  • Abstract
    It is shown how the two forms E x H* and E* x H should be used when extracting reactance information from the complex Poynting Vector in a microstrip problem. When the strip is narrow, some of the axial current appears on top of the strip. Its value is calculated and the practical use of this information is indicated.
