Abstract :
Based on the analysis of Sakai and Chinese distance education characteristics, the article is focused on how to use Sakai in distance education. There are three main research items, including function, usage patterns of high reliability and high scalability and the next generation Sakai3 promoting the distance education. The research explores a new way to use the LMS that is to both save the costs of development and maintenance and fully meet the actual demands.
