Abstract :
In this paper we present dynamic channels allocation algorithms with QoS support to be applied in wireless multi-channel environments. We focus our attention on the integration of networks with different radio access technologies, as expected in future fourth generation wireless systems. We propose and we analyze through simulations cooperative inter-networks solutions concerning channels allocation. We can demonstrate how these collaborative proposed strategies improve system performance by considerably reducing drop probability with respect to channel allocation techniques independently applied to each network.
