Abstract
We are developing a source of 780 nm light for use in rubidium atomic clocks by frequency doubling telecom-laser light in a periodically poled lithium niobate waveguide. A single-pass doubling efficiency of 70% and 780 nm power of 100 mW have been demonstrated.
