            Abstract : 
Currently, a mobile phone with multi-bands and a cognitive radio system require tunable filters with a wide tunable range. Ultra wide band resonator is important device to realize the tunable filter. This time, authors realized resonators with an ultra wide bandwidth of 26 % and a large impedance ratio of 92 dB between resonant and anti-resonant frequencies using a plate wave in a LiNbO3 plate. In addition, a band pass type tunable filter with a tunable range of 16 % was realized using the resonators.
