Abstract
The method of attitude determination based on the star vector is studied in this paper. Firstly, the principle of attitude determination based on the star vector is researched, and through this the TRIAD algorithm which used for the attitude determination with 2D vector is deduced. When there are many stars in the field of view, this paper gave the algorithm under the least squares sense. Finally, the effectivity and correctivity of above deduced algorithms were proved by simulation results with a standard star map..
