Abstract :
As development of internet and computer graphics, real-time interactive 3D content displaying on the web are becoming possible. However it´s still a challenge for developers to make litter efforts to create even a simple 3D scene in web pages. This paper introduces a scalable web 3d framework, Net GL, to simplify the development of web3D content. It leverages client-side graphics hardware for rendering acceleration and minimizes resource request from web server to lowest level to relief internet traffic jams by using state-machine strategy to manage resource. Net GL features real-time 3D collision detection with adaptive subspace partition algorithms. It is equipped with several auxiliary tools integrated into framework to ease development of 3D content on web. The framework is ready for Next Generation Internet and friendly compatible with nowadays web.
