Abstract :
In this paper, the design problem of output feedback sliding mode controls (OFSMCs) is considered for a class of systems with mismatched uncertainties. Based on the stability analysis result in the sliding mode (which has been obtained by the author in (Dong, 2006)), an OFSMC is constructed so that the prescribed system can be driven to the switching surface in finite time and stay on it thereafter. An example is also presented to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method.
