Abstract :
Using the transformation electromagnetics technique, a 2D flat far-zone focusing lens design has been presented. The design was obtained by transforming a circular arc with the center located at the line source position into a planar interface. A near-zone focusing lens was obtained by concatenating two far-zone focusing lenses in a back-to-back configuration. Finally, a non-magnetic version of the lens design was also presented.
