Abstract :
This paper deals with sapphire "whispering gallery" resonators (SWGR) and studies particularly a way to modify their temperature coefficient of frequency without using of dielectric or mechanical compensation. Instead, the proposed method implies special shaping of a disk SWGR made from a uniform monocrystal as described in the preceding paper.
