Abstract :
According to requirements from the X-ray-RI collision experiment at DSR that is proposed in the RIKEN RI beam factory project, an undulator for elliptically polarized X rays was designed. An Apple-II type of undulator was adopted so that both the X-ray energy and the polarization are continuously changed at the same time. The photon flux of more than 1015 photons/s/0.1%b.w, is calculated for any polarization in the energy range of 30-800 eV
