Abstract :
This article presents a compact, mobile-unit, internal-UWB antenna that is suitable for concealment in a confined space, for future UWB applications. The antenna is 6 mm times 33 mm in dimension and can easily be fed by mini-cable line. The antenna is designed to operate in the lower band (band group 1 = 3.1 - 4.85 GHz) of the UWB frequency band. Finally, details of the prototype are described, and the measured and simulated results are also discussed.
