Abstract :
We develop a rate allocation scheme for two-sided networks where both contents providers (CPs) and end users (EUs) participate in deciding data rate. For rate allocation, our scheme splits the network congestion price into network usage prices by CP and EU, respectively. Using this property, we show that our scheme maximizes the aggregate utility of CPs and EUs, while maximizing the net utility of each CP and EU.
