Abstract :
A model validation approach based on residuals analysis is presented to uncertain system with unmodelled dynamics. Since the effect of unmodelling errors, the residual signal is not only induced by the noise but also the unmodelling error. Therefore, in open-loop condition, model validation is firstly transferred into a hypothesis validation and a new residual estimation method is proposed. Though analyzing the cross-correlation function of residual signal and input signal, model validation is implemented. In final, the whole steps of model validation are presented and simulation results show the effectiveness of the method of this paper.
