Abstract :
In this paper, we report a systematic study on modulation properties of a VCSEL under ultrahigh injection-locking condition as a function of wavelength detuning (Deltalambda=lambdamaster -lambdaslave). Experimental results are explained using a new VCSEL amplifier model incorporated into the established injection-locking laser rate equations
