  • Abstract
A realization study of an isolated off-line half-bridge zero-voltage-switched PWM converter (HB ZVS-PWMC) is proposed. The converter employs the leakage inductance of the main transformer and the output capacitance of the power switch to achieve zero-voltage turn-on process. The proposed converter operates with variable-frequency and constant-duty technique. DC analysis and small-signal model derivation for stability study and compensation design are conducted. A design procedure is outlined for realizing an off-line 130 W HB ZVS-PWMC
