  • Abstract
    Short-duration electrical pulses with picosecond temporal width play important roles in ultrafast time-domain metrology (sampling and time-domain reflectometry). They can be also used as carrier signals in communication and radars. In addition, such short pulses have components in the lower portion of the THz gap, and can be used as a THz generator.
