Abstract :
Using limited energy source reasonably is the key issue of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) in recent researches. Under the condition of CSMA/CA MAC, this paper builds a new cross-layer energy model based on the sensor node energy model in three different statuses. The model which is restricted by many factors considers the energy consumption of data retransmission caused by collision. Meanwhile, the paper analyzes several factors which influence on data collision rate, and educes the formula of calculating data collision rate.
