Abstract :
This paper proposes an approach of on-line detection of load release failure for a post-boost vehicle. In response to load release failure, a strategy for controller reconfiguration is presented to achieve asymptotical attitude tracking. The proposed detection method, based on the parallel structure of the interacting multiple model algorithm, can detect whether the load is released as scheduled. When the result shows that the post-boost vehicle fails to release a load, the controller reconfigured by the maximum a posteriori approach with a threshold can guarantee good attitude tracking performance. A numerical simulation example evaluating the attitude tracking process before and after releasing a load is employed, which demonstrates the efficiency of the proposed approach and strategy.
